A poem about renewed hope.
Reborn

The shrill siren of the
Little girl call
Resonates throughout an empty house,
Devoid of color, light, variety.

Gathering together,
All pieces of one puzzle,
Suddenly- strange faces appear,
Penetrating the darkness
With the white that envelops their entire being.

A dark world turns suddenly
Light.
Filling the empty space,
Forcing out the fearful,
Creating hope among despair.
