A poem about why I write and who I hope to appeal to within my quest to make a diffrence.

Deny me
If you feel you must
Avoid my words
Set them from your eyes
Dare not see
What it is I am showing
Call me names
Justifiably so
Damn me to hell
Regardless of case or cause
Say that I should have known
Inform me of my rights
As you crucify me
For all that I intend
Regardless of such a plight
Despite your best intentions
I care nothing of your
Lack of interest
I hold no judgment for you
Even though that is all
That you possess for me
My haunting mass appeal
Is that what I write
It is part of what many of us live
Most of all people like you
Who continually walk around
With blinders on in an attempt
To be kept from any and all truth
Sad, but absolute
The truth is what you need to see
It is what you need to be shown
Above the lies enclosed
You need to understand
What people are capable of
Only then will you be safe
Only then can you avoid
The predation of our species
The weak and confused
The dull and blind
Are always first to die
First to be consumed
Via my words, via the truth
You will become strong
My haunting mass appeal
Is the only deal that you need
The only way to salvation
Not of your soul
But of your flesh and bone
And your mind called home
I will get you to think
Thoughts deemed impossible
I will get you to realize reality
And come to grips with the duality
Of who we are and why we are here
Let me be a guide
Because as important as it is
For you to be shown the way
It is unquantifiably more important
For me to be the one that leads
As many as he can with his words
Of direction and experience driven wisdom
I will always write as I do
As I know that I must
Until Heaven above or Hell below
Redeems my very soul
I will write for everyone
And in turn
Help just a handful of someone’s
It might as well be you
“You” in the sense of more than one
Everyone can benefit from such words
My haunting mass appeal is truth…
