Nobody's perfect, nobody should be.
We all strive for success,
pushing ourselves to the breaking point,
wanting so badly to be the best,
characteristics only Jesus could anoint,
stumbling and fumbling along the way,
mistakes trip us up at every corner,
but what an important role these mistakes play,
like teaching common sense to a foreigner.

Why does everyone fear mistakes,
when there the key to achievement,
for to succeed you’ll do whatever it takes,
so why do mistakes, people repent?
In this world, if you want a fighting chance,
give mistakes more than a passing glance.
