thoughts from a day at the lakes inspired by a photo I took.
Autumn lake

As I sit beside the lake
With cool air surrounding me
A lovely autumn scene I see
The clear blue sky above
Ducks swim out from under a bridge
Multi coloured leaves reflecting in the still waters
Soft sounds of  rustling trees like voices in the distance
Golden leaves fall to the ground, birds flying by.
