The "Art" of Seduction is my true passion, too many have no understanding of its value.
~`The Bookstore

Of course I would have arrived at the bookstore before him and had time to choose the perfect location to be discovered. Never does a woman chase her suitor, but instead she draws him in slowly with her allure. As I look inside the small compact to freshen my red lipstick, I can see his reflection in the tiny mirror and I smile.

Turned away from him, I seem to be immersed in a novel and unaware that he is beginning to approach. Slowly as he walks towards me I feel his bright, green eyes moving across my body and back again, yet I never move mine, just my head slightly towards him.  Suddenly we both are able to enjoy one another's fragrance as he is forced against my back in order to allow someone else to pass. I look up from my novel and over my shoulder slightly, just enough to feel his breath on the back of my neck.

With my lips slightly parted he is able to hear me softly sign and I feel his eyes moving down to my ample cleavage peeking out from the lace of my black bra under my blouse. A smile appears from the corner of his lips and I both hear and feel his breath on my neck along with his body pressed against mine. But then as quickly as he came, he is gone, the stranger has passed and so has he. I slowly look to my left in time to watch him walk away and I enjoy the view.

As my eyes return to my novel I find myself distracted with the scent of his cologne and the memory of his warm sigh on my neck. Again I try to focus and I find my eyes slowly leaving my page and moving around the bookstore searching for him. When I finally catch a glimpse of him our eyes meet for just a moment and I feel myself begin to smile inside. Once again moving I move my eyes back down to the page of my novel, I know that he will be back again; it's only a matter of time... The words become a blur as I think of him, but I continue to try to read the same sentence again and again.

As time passes, I find myself glancing up, but to my surprise I see him right across the isle of the short bookshelves in front of me. Suddenly, I feel the warmth rising from my chest to my face as I begin to blush and watch as the corner of his lips turn upwards and I see his beautiful green eyes again. My soft painted lips begin to part slightly as a sigh passes them silently and I feel the flush whisp across my cheeks. I can see that he is enjoying my fair complexion and its telling ways, as my face begins to turn a little pink.

My bright blue eyes sparkle and dance as we finally make genuine, real eye contact for the very, first time. Slowly my eyes lower and begin to return to the novel that I had been reading, but not before giving him my very best smile! As I pretend to be reading I can feel him still standing in front of me, just staring and I am frozen still. I dare not move at least not at this moment, I will not appear too eager, too anxious, too interested.

Eventually, I stare long enough at the words that I begin to read and find myself once again distracted with my novel. After what seems like several minutes having passed I turn the page and glance up in time to notice him once again. This time he has settled himself in a chair across the way with his own book. I notice his strong, dark features which I find so attractive and I wonder what brings him to the bookstore today? As he turns the page to his own book I see his eyes wander in my direction and once again our eyes meet and we both smile at one another. With that he returns his eyes to his book and I bend down to pick up my purse.

When I rise up again I decide that it is time for coffee so I slowly make my way to the cafe. As I stand in line deciding which kind of coffee to order today I hear a whisper in my ear, "Which kind will you try today?" I have felt this warmth before, but never heard his voice before and yet I know... without turning around or moving I say in a soft, sexy whisper, "What would you recommend?" Feeling the warmth of his breath on the side of my neck I hear him say, "Why not try something different, something exotic today?" Smiling, I like the suggestion of that, order my coffee and move to the side so that he can place his order. Waiting for our coffee we stand next to one another in silence when I feel his hand brush lightly against the side of mine.

Tingling sensations course down my spine as I imagine what it might be like to have him. My coffee is ready and I thank the young girl behind the counter then I find my way to a quiet table in the back corner of the cafe away from everyone. Secretly I am hoping that he will follow me, but one never knows how these things might play out. Minutes pass and I begin to sip on my "exotic" coffee and I see no sign of him so I begin to settle into my novel once again. Suddenly I hear the words, "Excuse me, is this seat taken?" My eyes leave the page of my book slowly and without moving my body but with my eyes I invite him to have a seat. Pulling out the chair slowly he takes a seat and I am a struck by how handsome he is noticing his eyes once again...

The Art of Seduction is an art form that seems to slowly be disappearing right before our eyes and no one seems to miss what used to be such common place. Today, with modern technology, we have actually taken many steps backwards at so-called "connecting" with on another by replacing eye contact, a smile, the scent of perfume, or the brush of a hand with a simple "text message." For those of us who still appreciate certain things like subtle flirtation, a candlelit dinner for two, walking in the moonlight, or that very "first" kiss, I encourage you to enjoy my story.
