Sometimes what I say or mean is lost, but sooner or later it always comes back to me.

Some words
Spoken quite loud
Screamed out from my mind
Electrical signals expressed
From my quivering lips
For a time I was uncertain
Which is no longer the case
Now I am fearless because I know
That there is nothing to be afraid of.

Such thoughts, made words
Are converted into ideas
Concepts for others to lament
I have stood in a place of great depths
All around, forever did climb
After my words left my shape
I waited for them to return
I was sure that only then
Could I be confident that I was heard.

It took quite sometime
A long and tedious lifetime to be exact
But finally, my words returned
But what I originally said
Was somehow lost in the echo
What was truly meant
Was interpreted quite differently
One mind does not always
See what another mind implies
One mind does not know
Even if it is carefully exposed.

Lost in the echo is not what I intended
But the beautiful and sometimes frightening
Parts of how we as beings understand
Has often lead to greater impact
Affecting not only me
But everyone else who reads
What they alone come to see in my words
I understand that now
Far better than ever before
Such an understanding has broadened
My writings and enlightened my purpose
Being lost in the echo
Has allowed me and my ideas to be heard
And to be found…
