A reflection on the Creator and his creation Man.
An Awakening

“God” did create man in his image,
Yet a flaw it may seem he did not perceive,
That man would fail to control his worldly desires,
And thus, like God on earth he would try to be.

Did God error in his creation of man?
Or in his generous grant of free will,
Did he know, being man’s creator?
That “Evil” would corrupt man with skill.

Awaken your conscience and reason,
Why did God create man, and grant free will?
For being God he knew that evil would persist,
Perhaps a test, at how good a creator was he?

Can man overcome these worldly desires?
And understand that the quest to be,
Just like God on earth,is a delusion of his thoughts
For wealth and power is only temporary.

How ungodly is man as he aspires,
A human desire he can never ever achieve,
For God is King of no Worldly Empire,
He is the humble soul within you and me.
