Pictures say a thousand words.
There is a photograph of you
I've looked at so many times, it's engrained into my memory
Perhaps for safe keeping, or general harmless obsessing
You appear stern, yet sensual
Dilates my pupils
Gives me chills
Sinks my gut
Moistens my palms
A cold penetrating stare that hold so many things
I cannot grasp, explain, decipher, or discern
Appears as if you're in some alternate universe
Peering vaguely into this realm
Longingly I seek that gaze behind my eylids
Will you to life through my subconscious mind
I want to break it apart
I want to amplify it
I want to analyze it
Something captivating in your eyes
Undeniably unfathomable
The mystery continues
As my curiosity leads me a bit closer
To that intensity you hold at a glance.
