It's a year tomorrow since my 21 year old friend was murdered. This is my tribute.
Liverpool's much the same since you haven't been here,

The violence and thuggery in the past year,

Is far from decreasing to move on we strive,

It's a bonus if each day we get through alive,

I think of you often when I'm sat there alone,

I look at your picture it's there in my phone,

And think about Rachel and all that you planned,

The why's,when's and wherefore's just can't understand,

But such is this life that
}
we live everyday,

You'd've achieved so much had you not gone away,

You had so much talent,so handsome a face,

But grief intervened, tried to make you embrace,

The process we go through when someone close dies,

But you couldn't seem to grieve or say your goodbyes,

Instead grief consumed you and ate you away,

I wish you had heard what I had tried to say,

See I thought I could save you that had been my goal,

From the self destruct mission that enveloped your soul,

Left feeling I'd let you down failed in my quest,

I miss you like f**k lad you're one of the best.
