I was sitting in class and thought about the seasons, which everyone forgets sometimes.
Season Changes

The leaves are beginning to turn.

The air smells of fresh

Apples and pears.

Whispers of Halloween *Jackolantern* are already a-foot.

Thanksgiving is lost and forgotten,

Behind the smells of Carmel and sweets *Inlove*

In the wind.

Before we know it Christmas will be at our door-step

Knocking with a cheerful glee and holiday cheer.

The sights and smells of the holiday change

Make us forget about the here and now

That which needn't be forgotten.

Birthdays, anniversaries, newly married, love, etc.

Are lost in a continuous change of pace.
