Questions of life - A Catena Rondo poem
We have come so far
What is it we should do now?
Reaping none of the seeds we plough
We have come so far

What is it we should do now?
Will I transcend to another place
Search beyond our space
What is it we should do now?

Will I transcend to another place?
And will you love me when I’m gone?
Will I be where I belong?
Will I transcend to another place?

And will you love me when I’m gone?
Will there be a void to fill?
Can you stand against your will?
And will you love me when I’m gone?

Will there be a void to fill?
Even then, I will stand for you
Hoping to find life anew
Will there be a void to fill?

Even then, I will stand for you
Knowing who I strive to be
Hoping to find and love to see
Even then, I will stand for you

Knowing who I strive to be
Now a prayer I say for peace
Feel love’s breath never cease
Knowing who I strive to be

Now a prayer I say for peace
For love in spite of all the strife
For energy and force of life
Now a prayer I say for peace.

For love in spite of all the strife
We have come so far
Reaching for the ultimate star
For love in spite of all the strife

We have come so far
What is it we should do now
Reaping none of the seeds we plough
We have come so far
