A poem about making a wish on a shooting star. The star is listening.


WISH



Saw a shooting star tonight, watched with wonder and delight.
As I stared, the star came down.
At my feet it landed, glowing light all around.
"Shhhh", said the star," you'll be alright."
Then back up it went, into the night, it's glowing trail sparkling bright.
