This is a poem lauding the splendors of a simple man whose love the speaker cannot have.
A warrior clad in emotion and smiles,
Turning hearts into petals and cities into piles.
Seeking your touch, your gaze, a gentle nod,
Could you be the one, my tower to God?

Living dreams bestowed by the stars,
Polishing stallions, cleansing the scars.
Mighty arms grasping my soul and my sight,
Falling forever into hay, heart, and light.

Striving for medal, settle for clay,
Living for moments ‘til paradise day.
Fulfill thy desire to love and to labor,

Together with a maiden secure and candor.
Forget not the form thy hand softly traced,
For my praise and my thought, recall thy embrace.
