Kingdom Gray



Seldom my thoughts rage

As a gray winter storm

Eating themselves

Tearing my subtle seams

Rotting holes

Like spots in the eye

After gazing in compulsion

Of a brilliant light that blinds



Seldom my thoughts rage

As a sick fear that grips

Like iron bars

Rusted and tight

Heavy as good intentions

That build around me

And fall somewhere dark



Yet,

Seldom

Do my thoughts rage...
