Love not being returned
rain drops pattering against the window
in time to the tears falling against her cheeks
night turns to day
sleep is something forgotten
loneliness is something that will never
"don't you worry we love you
more than you know"
fills the radio station
bringing pain to the constant beating
wishing to break free from her chest
eyelashes glistening
the shadows of a man she cannot rid
haunting
I love you more than you know
release from her lips
