This is a poem about how people can sometimes do things that make us so mad.
[Introduction]
We as people of this great Nation can sometimes be real assholes.
We can be nice but we can also be two faced at the same time.
We even go to prisons where they make us walk a straight line.
We go out on the town, we take our money, and we spend it all; yes every last dime.
We can have a fake smile, and we can seem to be fine.
Yes most people and I do mean in general; are nothing but slime.

As for me I am one of many who believe in; treat me like you want to be treated.
You do right by me I do right by you.
If you listen to what I say you know it's true.
I also stand firm in what I believe to be right.
I was raised to never run from anything; especially a fight.
You go getting in my face, the next thing you know; you got a boot in your ass.
People your time is coming and its coming fast.

People will always be People no matter what;
Most of their hearts are in the right place.
If you should make us mad rest assured we will punch you in the face.
Hopefully that will put you in your place, maybe it will make you see things a different way.
It may even teach you to mind what you say.
Really, why can't people just go to the Lord God and Pray?

People, people, people; don’t you think it's time to open your eyes?
Listen to me people, and hear what I say, just go to the lord and Pray.
He is the only one who has the power to save.
Those of you who believe differently; you are the ones who are naive.
Remember, it is required that you in your heart believe.
People, welcome Jesus in your life he will make your world feel complete.
People, Please believe in Jesus and worship at his feet.

People can be sometimes greedy creatures never sharing a thing.
Some of them dress funny and wear strange jewelry they like to call bling.
Some of the music you hear on the radio; you can't get any since out of what they sing.
People say hateful things that cut through to the heart; oh how they sting.
Some people are unmarried; I guess they don't know the true meaning behind that wedding ring.
Yes, People: aren't we such a strange thing?

People, we treat our Earth like it is nothing more than a land field.
Like it's not the only home we have; come on people get real.
People, keep our Earth clean do more than just care; show how you feel.
People it's your home too you know; put your foot down, and tell them the deal.
Litter belongs in it proper place; it is our Earth we are trying to deface.
People, why don't you stop, and take a look at the Earth, and all around, this place…

You probably didn't want to read this work, but still you read to here.
I for one think I made myself quite clear; if you have ears listen and you will hear;
An Indian Spirit on the Wind saying thank you for your effort in all that you do.
I don't expect you to believe it; you don't have too, but know this: I'm sure it's true.
People, keep the Planet clean you know what I say is true; then the Heavenly Father will most surely bless you.
