Self examination seems to be a pathological defect of those nurtured in self-awareness.
Imagine your pain, all of it,
hear in my head, every word. Every word of it.

I want to scream,
"Let me out." I only can say,
"Please hurt me again." Not
with my words,

but with my body.

Posture to you to let you take me
as your pins and your slams
cushioned by this sole
unloved dying ball.

The tear from my skull
ripped out as some noise
to drown all your pain
and sorrow within.

Just cry on this heart
so that I can love
when the floodgate
finally bursts

Leaving me bare
before your drying stair.

Together we'll dream to
ascend.
