Two blind people fall in love.
Tom's mind is riveted by the story written in braille.  All at once, he hears and imagines the charging bull and his ears discern a lovely singing voice.  Tom immediately stops what he is doing and follows the siren call.  He, moving quickly, feels a beckoning from her singing.  There is continuous tapping from his cane against the ground.  Soon enough, Tom is at the back end of an outdoor stage.  The "Wind Beneath My Wings" song ends.

Tom hears the band's step on the stage steps.  Tom says, "That was an incredible song."  The band members see Tom holding his hand out and holding a cane for the blind.  Steve, Joe, and Adam shake hands and introduce themselves to Tom.  Adam leads Laura over to Tom.

Laura can't see the man named Tom, but she can feel Tom's heartbeat, which is rapidly beating just as her own heart.  The scent of Tom's cologne wafts toward Laura.  She smiles and says, "Hi, I'm Laura."  Laura extends her hand to Tom.  Their hands clasp and it feels like each of their hearts and souls are intertwined as one.

Tom is excited and says, "I'm Tom, Tom...Moore.  Will you take a walk with me?  As long as you don't mind me being blind."

Laura says, "I'm blind, too.

Tom and Laura are still holding hands, reluctant to let go.

"Do you know your way around here," Laura asks?

Tom answers, "Yes, I live near here."

Steve protectively says, "No, she isn't going off with some stranger."

Tom says, "You are right.  I'm a stranger.  I tell you what you hold onto my bag and I'll have her back within two hours."

Tom walks away with Laura while Steve scratches his head.

Tom asks, "Is Steve your boyfriend?"

"No, we're just friends," Laura answers.

Tom and Laura hold hands while Tom leads the way with his cane.

Tom inquires, "Please, tell me about your singing."

"I have been in the band for about one year.  Right now, we're traveling along the east coast doing all these festivals."

Tom says, "That sounds cool."

Tom's cane taps on the sidewalk as they walk.  A crowd of people are going around them.

"Does he have to take up the whole sidewalk," a man in the crowd asks?

Tom turns and replies,"No, I don't, but you shouldn't be rude, either."

Laura says, "It seems crowded out here.  Maybe, we should go to a bar?"

"I know a place not far from here," Tom states.

They go to a bar conversing and getting to know each other over drinks.

Tom got her back to her band members on time.

Adam asks later, "You didn't tazor the guy, so, how did it go?"

"There are definite possibilities for the future," Laura says with a smile.  "We really opened up to each other."

Adam says, "Does he mind that you're traveling around with us?"

Laura says, "No, we discussed him meeting us at our last show in Boston."

"I hope he, truly, is everything you want," Adam says.

Tom and Laura talk on the phone nearly every night for three months.

At the festival in Boston, Tom makes his way to the bandshell.

Laura's band mate sees Tom and tells Laura.

Laura shouts, "Tom!"

"Laura," Tom shouts!

They hurry towards each other.

"Tom?"

"Laura, I'm over here."

They get together embracing each other.  They each move one hand to the other's face, then they kiss for a long time.
