Italian twins from not around, will they make it?
Chapter One

Seven years ago – Log entry
A smile and a frown, two things that can express emotion, though with some added, off record tests, it has also been proven, though despite being sad someone can keep smiling, the same with being happy, someone can keep frowning. Our two test subjects, identical twins, ___ the older and _____ the younger, where given to our facility by the Auto-Police, after they attacked and robbed several people in the high district. These two had been reported to have been stealing from quite a lot in the lower districts as well, _____ had been described as the more brutal one always finding different ways of killing his victims and always leaving a .. Smiley face at the crime scene which always has the police scratching their heads, ___ seems to be a lot more merciful leaving his wounded a live in a fighting state like his twin ___ leaves something behind but instead of a smiley face, it is a frown.
Because of their young age the police cannot place them into prison, so they are here, in the Psychiatric hospital, hopefully we can sort these two out and find someone who can look after them, this is going to be difficult we’ve already had the younger twin in tears because he had spent three days two nights away from his older brother, we fear keeping them apart will cause more problems than we can handle, but keeping them together is just as bad, the older twin has made one of the doctors bleed dangerously……. I hope all well be well in the end. We have sent word to the Scientist Suniga in hopes she will also be able to help….

Now
“They hate us. Don’t they brother?” The younger giggled licking at a fresh wound on his lip he just made, just for the taste of blood
A grunt was the older’s reply, he could hear his younger brother giggling hysterically, the vibrations from it coursed through the youngers shoulder and into the older’s. They were sitting side-by-side in the, brightly lit white room backs against the wall, a few ‘hand-paintings’ made from their own blood was on the walls, no one dared to come in their room any more. The twins themselves were identical, same light brown almost rusty hair colour, same red devil looking eyes, same colths henche them being in this place they had robes for close, every thing was the same for them .... except for the smile on the youngers and the frown on the older’s faces.
“I don’t get it Brother. They still hold us here, but they don’t do anything with us” The younger laughed
Like on cue, two men dressed in black, with body armor, black jeans and black T, with pistols at their sides came storming in. What were they going to do? The twins hadn’t been fed for three days, and the constant bleeding from their wounds they created made them weak, they obviously couldn’t hold a fight longer than three minutes, though these two were full of surprises. A lady in high-heels followed them inside, the younger winced a little as the heels made a clunking sound on the marble floor as she walked, she had long purple-blue hair that flowed down across her back, wide framed glasses with purple tint in them, the frame themselves where white, she also wore a lab coat, buttoned to the top, unlike the other coats the twins had seen, this one covered the lady’s mouth and noise making her identity a mystery to them.

The lady nodded to the two men in black, they looked at each other and then at the twins, it was easy to tell that they were afraid but they stepped closed to the twins. The older growled lips pulling back to show oddly shaped teeth, the younger just started laughing louder, it made the men freeze for a moment before they continued their approach, one drew his pistol and aimed it at the older, the older just growled more smelling the drugged bullet, tranquilizers. The other man knelt down picking the younger up in a bridle-like style. As soon as the younger was removed from the older’s side, he snapped, jumping right onto his feet, but before he could do anything he was shot with the tranquilizer, knocking the kid out almost instantly
“Ass!” The younger screeched, he too had lost it when taken away from his own flesh and blood.
The man holding him was having a hard time keeping the kid in his arms, the male who drugged the older twin moved over to help restrain him, both men looked at the lady for silent orders, she only nodded giving the silent command to also drug the younger, the younger twin felt cold as a syringe was slowly inserted into his arm, despite his struggling attempts to get away the men were able to still the arm that the syringe went in, the young twin watched now almost silent, but not still, as the clear liquid got inserted into his blood stream. It took a few moments before he felt dizziness cross his head in a rush, he also felt strangely limp, ceasing his struggles the young twin muttered a few times before noticing his eye-lids sliding shut…

Warm. He felt … warm. The room he had been staying in for so long, that, cold, stony room, he had never felt warm before, unless he was cuddled up beside his older brother …… Brother …….. Brother! . The boy jolted upwards, too fast, his head suddenly became light and he flopped back down onto the white sheeted bed he was laying in. He grumbled little pulling a pillow over his face giggling into it. Then quickly pulled it away then threw it away from himself, sitting up more slowly the boy rubbed his eyes tiredly looking around the room. This was …… different, he was in a proper room, he couldn’t remember the last time he was in a room with windows, curtains, carpet, a bed. Throwing the sheets off of himself, the boy threw his legs out of the bed, they dangled off the side, he swung them as he got a better look of the room. There were four windows, two small ones at the top, near the celling, a much larger one almost taking up quarter of a wall, light blue curtains were pulled back showing the scenery outside, the blue sky ….. The boy shook a little as he forgot about everything else as he stood up and walked over to the window showing the sky, placing a hand on the glass the boy smiled widely as he watched clouds take their shapes in the sky. How he missed staring at the sky, how he could get easily lost in thought of watching it, his twin was a little different, he preferred the night sky while this boy preferred the day sky.

“You two are a lot different” Came a strange unfamiliar voice behind him.
The boys smile faded a little, from hearing that statement, but the smie remained on his face as he spun on his heels to look at the invader, the boys smile then grew looking at the scientist-looking lady from before. He then started to giggle.
“I knew this was all too good to be true!” He laughed out loud “What. What are you gonna do to me? Let me live here for a few days and then make me crazier by not letting me see my brother?!” He almost spat out the last words, always keeping his smile though
The lady took one of the chairs that the boy didn’t even notice was in the room and sat down on it, the chair was a dark green color and honestly the boy didn’t like it, he screwed up his nose at the color of the chair. The lady seemed to notice this and looked behind herself at the chairs green frame
“Don’t like the color?” She asked questioning him
She jumped in her seat to see the boy only a few feet away from her, he was now sitting on a light orange colored chair. It spooked her to know that the child could cross an entire room without being noticed. The lady then sighed looking at the boy directly, he had strangely colored red eyes; she gripped the clip-board in her hand lifting it so she could read it
“You’re Emmie, the younger twin … You had a knack for harming yourself and your brother while in the facility …”
Emmie just smiled and nodded with every fact that she said, which he already knew. To him, she was just another therapist that wanted only to ‘help’ him, real reason was to make money, none of them really cared about their patients.
“We moved you apart so you wouldn’t hurt anyone else your brother included. Asa, has been moved as well, neither of you were making any progress where you where, you can see your brother on weekends” The lady informed
“Okay!” Emmie chirped “Just two questions!” He giggled
“What are they?” The lady asked curiosity in her voice
“One, what’s your name?”
“Louisa Suniga. What’s your other question?”
“What’s today?”
Louisa looked a little shocked again, he didn’t know the day? Then again that wasn’t surprising, the room that he had been living in with his brother showed no signs of the outside world, it wouldn’t be surprising the people inside that ward became even worse than how they went in.
“Hey, Miss Suniga!” Emmie laughed clicking his fingers in front of her face
Louisa shock her head to get out of the sudden daze she was in, her face lips plastered into a firm line
“Today is Wednesday; the weekend is in three days’ time. In three days it’ll be Saturday the very start of the weekend” Louisa said calmly “And please, call me Louisa; it is my name after all”

Emmie blinked at her curiously, all the other therapist’s he had in the past always wanted him to call them by their last names, this lady was different, it kind of scared him to know that there was different people in the world. He couldn’t remember the last time he had contact with someone who wasn’t his brother and wasn’t a therapist or guard. Emmie then leaned back on his chair
“What is there to do here?” He giggled craning his neck to stare up at the ceiling
“That’s your third question” Louisa pointed out
“Pardon me?” Emmie lowered his head and stared at her
“You said you had two questions. You have already asked them”
“You’re kidding me” Emmie started laughing “You won’t answer any more of my questions because I’ve ‘gone over the limit’?!”
“I never said that” Louisa stated, she was really getting on Emmie’s nerves, with pointing everything out. Then Louisa said “To answer your question, anything. We didn’t know what you liked but we can get you anything transported into this room”
“Can you get me a garden?” Emmie joked almost as soon as Louisa said that
“If you would like a garden, we can get you a garden”
“You know I was joking, right?” Emmie giggled
“…… Sure you were …?”
Emmie giggled harder having to place his hand over his mouth to keep from bursting out into fits of laughter, for a therapist, she wasn’t very smart! The look on her face was just priceless!
“How ‘bout, some new cloths?” Emmie tried to say calmly after he calmed down a bit.
“If you haven’t seen it yet, there is a closet to your left, it has a whole range of different cloths that we hope will fit you.”
“You hope they’ll fit me?” Emmie chuckled, biting his finger this time to stop himself again
“Is there something funny Mister Yntema?” Louisa asked huffing a little at the end

Emmie froze, his smile still there, he was still biting his finger with his razor teeth, but his eyes had turned wide, how the hell?! How the hell did she know his last name?! No one knew it except for his ‘missing’ parents and twin!
“Surprised Emmie? Don’t be. We do regular background checks on everyone who comes in here for … ‘help’ we also know how many you and your brother have beaten for petty gold coins -
“Get out.” Emmie cut her off, he didn’t want to hear this again, and Louisa was quickly becoming one of Emmie’s top ten ‘to kill later on’ list
“You cannot tell me what to do in here Emm—
“I said get out!” The frustration in Emmie’s voice was as clear as day as the seven-teen year old boy bolted onto his feet hands clenched into fists, he started laughing hysterically again, this time it sounded a lot more murderous “You don’t want to be going home with cuts and bruises do you?!”
The threat Emmie made was very much real, he was willing to go through with it if Louisa didn’t get up and leave, which thankfully, she did. Once the silver door to his room was shut, and locked, Emmie raced around his new room closing all the curtains that he could reach before darting into the white sheeted bed, in a room full of darkness, Emmie felt a little safe, all that was missing now was his twin. Emmie buried his face into one of the pillows giggling into it, the giggling was masking the tears that where sliding down his face.

The older twin rubbed his head groggily as he sat up, he yawned looking around the room, he expected to see the same walls that had been painted with his younger brothers blood but to his surprise there wasn’t any of that, in fact he was in a whole different room, the walls weren’t white, they were a cream colour, he could still call them white though, and the normally marble floor was covered in what seemed to be a thick layer of green carpet, he even had windows really bloody windows getting off the bed, the older twin almost tripped as he forgot to untie the sheet that had somehow got tied around his wrist, grumbling while sitting on the floor the twin used his other hand to untie himself, quickly getting frustrated with it the older twin stood up and yanked his hand free, pain spread through his wrist as the sheet came off with a hard tug from the older twin. Grumbling to himself with the ever present frown the twin trotted away from the bed, heading for a desk which had a computer on it, the desk itself was a wooden colour, the frame was stable, it had a sound system on it hooked up to the computer so the twin could listen to music however loud he wanted to, the desk also had three sets of draws and the boy quickly went rummaged through them, he didn’t care who’s room this was but he wanted out, or at least something to do, with having only his brother for company for the past seven years he was alive, things had begun to get pretty damn boring, especially in that marble room. The twin reached into one of the draws pulling out a pile of paper, sighing the twin sat on the computer chair and booted up the computer, images flashed brightly as the screen came to life, not use to this the boy jumped back kicking the computer box causing it to turn off. Sighing the twin headed for the window, there was something wrong, of course there was, he didn’t have his brother with him, it pained him to think of what his brother was going through, if it was something bad, those people where going to pay, with their lives.

“Asa? Correct?”
Asa tilted his head to the side and looked over his shoulder at the person who said his name, his frown deepened at seeing another scientist-looking lady, this one was different though, she still had the same coat that the other had but hers wasn’t done up to the top, Asa could plainly see the features on this one’s face, she too wore glasses, these had red frames and again a purple tint to them, her hair was shorter and a different colour, it only went as far as her shoulders and it was a dark brown. The woman waited for Asa’s reply, not like she was going to get a verbal one, Asa was the silent twin, only speaking when he had too. Giving up with the woman’s stare, Asa nodded, to her knowledge he could have been his brother Emmie. The woman moved into the room taking a hold of a chair and sitting down on it, Asa moved to where she was sitting taking a seat on another chair, he grumbled silently as the cushion on it, it was too soft, too fluffy, he knew Emmie would of enjoyed sitting on the chair, he would also like pulling it apart.
“Where’s my brother?” Asa growled before the lady could say anything to him
“Um … he’s …. Nearby” Stuttered the woman
Asa growled crossing one leg over the other one, arms folding across his chest as he noticed the clip-board in her hands
“You want to ask me questions. Or just say things to me that I already know? But answer me this, who are you”
“I am Lanie Kezele, I, obviously work here –
“Where is here?” Asa interrupted
“A … upgraded Psychiatric hospital, you’ll be staying here until –
“Until you think we’re better. When can I see my brother?”
“Wow you really are impatient aren’t you?”

Asa just grumbled more waiting for a response from her to answer his question about his brother, Asa was worried for Emmie he hadn’t spent this long away from his younger twin in his entire life; he was defiantly missing him already
“You can see your brother in three days’ time, for two days” Lanie informed
“Not good enough” Asa scowled getting to his feet storming over and grabbing Lanie by her collar “I want to see my brother now!” He yelled right into her face which made her wince
“Asa calm down before I call someone in here to restrain you” Lanie said surprisingly calm
Asa didn’t let go of her collar, his grip only tightened, his red eyes burning into Lanie’s own blue ones, he growled pulling his lips back to show his razor fangs to her, he knew that he looked like a killer but, news flash, he was one. Lanie quickly pressed a button on her watch around her wrist, the door to Asa’s room opened and the two men from before busted in, Asa looked up at them before letting go of Lanie and backing away from her, the men came in and stood on either side of Lanie with their arms crossed
“Now Asa, you won’t be able to see your brother is you continue to act like this, and I’m starting to think these records are wrong. About your brother being the abusive one” Lanie sighed cautiously
Asa just grumbled to himself sitting back on the cushion chair with his arms back across his chest
“What’s it to you?! All you want is the money” Asa growled
“That is not true, Asa we are not like the people who had you in that, stone room, we really do want to help you, and if you improve, we’ll let you see your brother more regularly”
Asa just frowned more, he really didn’t like her, she was too … happy, too much like his brother, and he started to pay only half of his attention to her already. Lanie just seemed to go on forever about her research about how twins reacted together, she told him about how this was ‘step-one’ in their research about twins, another was going to be the differences between identical twins, she informed him that they already knew about their different personalities and a little difference between their likes and dislikes, though Asa was unsure how she even knew about their likes and dislikes.

He was extremely bored when Lanie finally shut her yap; even the guards standing beside her looked bored out of their minds. Lanie stood up her chair creaking as she did
“Let’s go, have a nice night Asa”
“Yeah …… Whatever” Asa said waking up
Asa watched with half closed eyes as Lanie and the guards just left his room, he did have to admit that his brother was right about the annoying noise heels could make; even on carpet it was annoying. The door to his room closed and, obviously, was locked. Asa groggily stood up and trucked over to his bed, he didn’t even notice the colour of the sheets, more cream. He grumbled quietly to himself and flopped down onto of them making the bed squeak, pulling own one of the pillows Asa held it behind his head, that scientific speech was the most boringest thing he had ever heard. And now, he had to suffer through two days without seeing his brother, this was going to be a painful experience for both him, Lanie and Emmie
