Short poem, I'd love to hear your thoughts on it!
Months went by
Without a word
Seasons changed
And it’s absurd

That every wish
I’d dare to make
On shooting stars
and birthday cake

Had hints of you
Always the same
“I need him back,
I miss that flame”

A wild fire
Sparks of passion
But left me burned,
Paled and ashen

I really don’t
Know why I do,
All I know
Is I need you.
