Joy is.... (poem)
Joy is the warmth of a summer day

Waves of heat punctuated with blasts of a soft breeze

Joy is the warmth of a summer day

Joy is a mug of tea

Swirls of steam radiating from the surface

Joy is a mug of tea

Joy is a smile

A soft grin sent lovingly, a beacon of hope

Joy is a smile

Joy is a sore stomach

An ache caused by bursts of laughter

Joy is a sore stomach

Joy is a winter night

Bits of light decorating houses, snow gathering on grass

Joy is a winter night

Joy is an infant's face

No regrets or mistakes; just wonder and life

Joy is an infant's face

Joy is in every day

Pieces of happiness to be found everywhere

Joy is in every day
