Dripping away
Looking at life through a chemical drain;
dripping, drip, drip, dripping away.
Half wasted and waned.
Half bloated and stretched.
Displayed with well, and unwell, earned stripes -
courage is no commodity after-all.
When time fails to assume you.
When the gorge excretes the rot.
When, just when, and then
at once it all ceases to drip, drip, drip.
Once stripped down.
Once washed away.
Then taken down to the depths of the well, and the unwell, machine.
Through draughty night time corridors.
Taking door after door after door.
Each turn, turning over, and over and over.
Looking at life through walls, and doors, and doors, and walls
Walking, walk, walking away.
Well, and unwell.
