Chapter 2
[Introduction]
Chapter 2
I TIGHTEN MY CAPE AROUND MY SHOULDERS SHIELDING MY CHEST FROM THE COOL WIND, but then dropped it when I saw the crowned prince approach me, I dipped down into a low curtsy and extended my hand for him to kiss he excepted my invitation and took my hand in his bigger and kissed it with the softest lips I have ever felt.
"My lady Renn , are you well?” He asked pleasantly. I smiled pleasantly back.
“Yes, I am well, but the loss was a tragedy, I feel great sorrow” He sighed.
“Dellden was a great and Gifted Knight he will be remembered in this court,“
I nodded.
“You know him better then I but he was a great man, as you your Majesty“ But then at the corner of my eye I saw my husband walking away. “ I must leave, it was a pleasure of speaking to you your majesty,” I said as I curtsied as low as my first one, But before I was able to get far he grabbed my arm. “My Lady Renn,” He whispered. “Mind yourself with William this evening he was close to Dellden I can tell it brought him great sadness,” I nodded and tried to ketch up to my husband before I was left behind.
“What was that?” My husband asked me sternly after moving several passes away from the prince. “What was what my husband?” I asked cautiously I fell a step behind him. “What you just did with the prince,”
“Talking to him-,” He cut me short. “Flirting with him,” He yelled as he turned to me over his shoulder his face like stone. “I’m sorry William I didn’t mean to offend you,” I pleaded unaware of my actions, my head bowed as low as it would go. “You dun right should be,” He scoffed. “Is there anything I could do for you to except my apology,” I instantly regretted those words as soon as they flew out of my mouth. He smiled darkly at me. “You’ll see my little wife, you‘ll see,” I didn’t like the sound of that one bit and I forced myself not to shutter and show my unlikeness. “I’ll see you at dinner my little wife I have a meeting to attend to,” He said as he walked toward the palace and disappeared from sight. I found my self swallowing painfully after letting out a sigh I didn’t know I was holding and adjust my hood on my head.
But since or wedding our eyes never connected and when we did he seemed…sad like he was pleading with me to forgive him. I loved his beautiful Knightish forest green eyes and those dark long eye lashes of his would make any women envy him, or swoon over him, but he never looked nor really spoken to any women unless just being polite. I could tell he carried a heavy burden deep in those depths of his eyes.
An for the strangest of reasons, I felt pity for him.

“Ooh, dreadful,” I heard a voice behind me say, I turned to find my ever so faithful brother-in-law Edward coming into sight after hiding behind a tree to be unseen by my husband, I smiled at the beautiful red head as I walked over to him and wrapped him in a hug.
“Rose am I glad he’s not my real brother,” He sighed in relief. I laugh as I looked up into his face his beautiful bright green emerald Knightish eyes smiled at me. Causing a butterfly feeling to come over me, and all I could do was smile from the feeling.
We walked down a path to the garden my hand in his elbow, we walked quite a ways down until we came to a small building in the garden and lead me to the far side wall facing away from the palace and pinned me to the hard wall and claimed my lips, his hands exploring along my body, “You know we can’t keep on doing this,” I panted out, moving my hands all along his body, he made his way along my jaw and then my shoulder nipping me ever so often. “ I know my love but you touchier me so,” He panted out not stopping the endless kissing. I moaned every so often acknowledging the rush that went through my body, a rush that my husband could never deliver. “Just try not to leave any marks,” I panted out. “As you wish,” He purred as he stopped kissing me again and went to the hem of my gown and felt my leg up I there I let out a silent scream he claimed my lips once more when I felt were his hand explored only a thin layer of fabric separating us from even more pleasure but I knew he would never go that far for knowing I was a married women, if he were to touch our control would alter and a pregnancy might be in our future. One not the fault of my husband. The touching and the kissing went for several more minuets trying not to go to the wet ground and wet my gown. “Edward,” I panted pulling away to look into his face both of our eyes still dark with lust, his body still pressed agents mine. “We must stop my love, you know as much as I if were caught you I or both of us could be beheaded for adultery,” He sighed and kissed me fully on the lips and pulled away from me so he could adjust himself and help me adjust my dress and hood an I again put my hand in his elbow and we made or way back to the palace as casual as we did nothing sinful. I looked up to the sky and saw that the time to dine was coming shortly and I must go to my room and change for dinner. “ I had a good time,” I said as I curtsied to him and extended my hand for him to kiss, he excepted the invasion and kissed my hand sweetly like any other Knight would. “I’m glad, I’ll see you at dinner my lady,” I smiled sweetly as he walked away and I turned on my heel and climbed a flight of stairs and went to my sisters room.
“Were have you been?” My sister asked looking at me through the looking glass. “In the garden, Trin,” I replied. She glared at me and rose from the chair with her hand on her swollen belly with her other hand on the chair balancing herself. “You saw him didn’t you?” She asked me sternly. I looked away. She sighed. I then said guilty. “I did,” I walked over to her. “You mustn’t worry about me, you have to worry about the baby you’ll put strain on it,” I said as I put my hand to her face and crested her cheek bone with my thumb. “You’re my younger sister how can I not,” I smiled as I set my hand on her stomach over hers. “You have more things to worry about Trin,” She smiled her half smile at me; a smile we both inherited from our mother, and Grandmother.
I picked out a beautiful forest green dress with golden vines gracefully in boarding the delicate fabric. Since my Knightish blood I tend to lean towards Knightish like styles in clothing.
I then summoned a maid to help me dress and Trin brushed my hair, and there I told her what had happen between my husband and I.
“William is a very complicated case Renn,” She told me after I told her. I sighed.
“I hate feeling like a piece of property,” Trin smiled and then sighed. “That’s the Knight talking again,” She put my hair up with a flowered purled comb. “I can not help who I was meant to be,” I turned around in the vanity seat, and I saw her eyes narrow, not as narrow as mine but I knew what that looked meant.
“Renn,” I bit my lip. “I know, too bold,” Trin went in front of me and put her hands on my shoulders. “Renn, I know you’re very proud and if you where a man you would have been a very honored Knight, but alas you where cursed with the eyes of Knighthood as a women so you must hold your tongue and,-” “Do as I bid,” I cut in. She gave me a warning look but choice not to say anything.

At dinner we both dined at the lady’s table having polite conversations here and there. I looked around having become board with the gossip and looked to the Royals table, my husband seated to the right of the King being his Lieutenant Corneal made him second in command next to the Crowned Prince. He spoke to no one as he normally did and looked uncomfortable, he sat with his legs and arms crossed his eyes down caste.

The king rose and from were he was sitting and rose his goblet in the air and announced a toast. “My people, I propose a toast I wish good life to my son Phillip who will take my place one day as King, and we all hope that his wife will bore him a good strong son and one day follow in his fathers footsteps just as I followed in my fathers, and my father followed in his fathers as the future king,” He looked to his son who sat to his left who looked a little embarrassed because of all the attention on him, and the king smiled as he turned his attention back to his court and rose his glass higher. “Amen!” “Amen,” The rest of the court repeated at once, rose their glasses and drank. I slowly drank my wine, my eyes wondering table to table until I felt someone put their hands on my shoulders and put their face so close to me that I felt their breath on my ear. I stiffened knowing it’s probably was my husband, He was known for his speed, I only let my eyes away a second.
I turned my head to the side and breathed in a cretin smell, a smell so intoxicating that would make any women melt to his feet and beg for him to be her husband. But for me that smell made me want to gag and a face to mach what collection wasn’t complete with out a pair (I lied William was a very good looking man, and his secant was sometimes intoxicating making me sometimes swoon with unknown reason) .
“Hello my little wife,” His thick English accent whispered in my ear. “I’ll aspect you in our chambers after dinner, so I can except that apology from earlier remember,” I gulped quietly and nodded my head as I felt him release me and walk away. I felt myself shaking feeling a cold sweat come over me, and gulped again when I looked out-side and saw that the sun was almost completely behind the horizon and that made me a little unnerved knowing I’m going to have to be in our married bed in less then and hour and that literally made my skin crawl.
“Are you alright?” My sister asked me putting her hands on my shoulders, I turned my head to face her and I nodded stiffly. “You’re going to be fine,” I nodded again this time a little more loosely.
I sat alone, my mind racing. I always found myself like this, getting a feeling there was something wrong, but for the life of me I could never put my finger on it. It frustrated me.

It seemed too short but an hour passed. The king and queen retired to their bed chambers, and every one else wandered away or retired to their bed chambers and for myself I tried to stay as long as I could, I did not want to face my husband not just yet. But alas I couldn’t say for any longer and I made my way to our married bed and stood in front of the door way for a while and knocked to see if I could come in. But when I opened the door he wasn’t present, so I walked in and sat on a window seat waiting for him but I wasn’t long before he came in. “Undress.” He ordered me as I stood gracefully. I nodded as I started unlace-sing my dress and corset. As soon as I got to my slip and undergarments he started undoing his pants and took off his shirt and walked over to me when he was fully striped and slapped my hands away and helped me out of the rest of my cloths and immediately laid me down when I was fully unclothed. I just laid there so he could do what ever he wanted so he could get his pleasure and get off.

The next morning before the sun was over the horizon, I lied there, still! Fully knowing if I where to move and he was awake, he might want more. I didn’t want any more. He was too rough with me.
When the sun was over the horizon I felt the side my husband was on move and the weight disappear, and again I lied there still! until he was dressed and left the room. When he was gone I let out a long needed sigh as I got up, and flinched slightly, he wasn’t exactly gentle when it came to sex. Certainly when I did nothing.
Wrapping myself in his robe I gathered my cloths and made my way to my sisters room and summoned a maid to help me in a dress I picked out,

In front of my vanity is when my mind wondered, as I brushed my hair I saw the gold band shine in the mirror. I looked at the band on my long slender finger going back to that day almost 2 and a half years ago. But it still remained fresh like a salt soaked wound. Two and a half years we have been married and still he’s a stranger, he hardly speaks to me rarely wants anything and when he dose its rough like even he himself doesn’t want to enjoy it. But the night of our wedding, he was gentle and handled me with care, like I would break.
