A brief poem
Sometimes if you sit in an empty room
Close your eyes and slow your breathing
You can feel it
A slow gossamer breeze
Like the wind before rain
And electric ting that moves through your body
And envelopes in a fog
That you can feel
You are feeling time
As it goes by
It feels like a direction
A spatial dimension
It feels the way it would feel if you were to remain perfectly still
And all of space moved around you
You stay put and the universe travels through you
Instead of the other way around

It feels terrifying
Because it’s the feeling of you dying
