A look at the life of an orphan...
Sitting on the roadside,
Watching the passers-by.
Gloominess on his face,
Hopefulness in his eyes.

Was an orphan by fate,
Had a heap of troubles.
No one to love and care,
Life was like in shackles.

Clothes torn and tattered,
Hair very dense and wild.
Face with a trail of tears,
Lips gaping without smile.

Created just like us,
Still no one of his own.
Deep inside if you saw,
Feel his silent moans.

In need of sympathy,
He would glance all over.
Wishing a helping hand,
From a caring brother.
