Inner struggles of yourself.
A lonely existence, the lone ranger, a triangle with no edges
Trying to fit through the toy hole it once pushed through
Looking through rose colored lenses at yourself and seeing only forced smiles
Being intelligently stupid and looked down on because your smarts are not their smarts
Feelings and emotions and pain and pride, standing in the way of all the potential
A burn victim with the outer beauty to win the pageant
A small hole in yourself that is damaged and politically incorrect
Standing against all odds and pushing the past away
To get up with feelings of great achievement, even if no progress has been made
Turning your day around to believe in something greater, an ending of peace and a soul of fullness
Rendering objects of split reality, the things internally that make you, you
The problems and the mistakes that only make up your perspective
Internally facing a barbed wire fence that you're pushed through by your loved ones and strangers
To tough it out and get through another day to say to them "I am happy, I am free"
Yet still tangled in the clear fence you whisper a solemn few words...
I can't believe anymore.
