A short poem about the way I enjoy spending my weekends.
TODAY I REST








Today I rest

I won't get dressed

I'm wearing my robe all day



No dishes to clean

No floor to sweep

No dogs needing out to play



No food to cook

I'm reading a book

and lying in my bed



So leave me alone

I'm relaxing at home

That's all that needs to be said
