Trust in the Lord

Do not be discouraged in life,
Because of many a storm and strife.
Trust in the good Lord and His might,
Light of the world He is, shining bright

All our weaknesses He knows well,
His great power will finally dwell.
Will not desert us, lay us bare,
Test us, to only what we can bear.

Heed His call, so your cries be heard,
Come to Him, He is the good shepherd.
Follow Him, as He leads the way,
In His care, you will not go astray.

Winds of despair will cease to blow,
With joy all around, your life will glow.
Doors of happiness opened wide,
Deep within, pain will ease and subside.
