a trip to the museum through different eyes
old drunk rediscovers
his human dignity
in the fragile innocence
of a little girl

a dingy train is awakened
by sounds rom allover the world
as it attempts to connect
people with time

the worn panels
echo glad departures
as bone knocks on glass
husband departs from wife

noise controls the noisy
as the quiet people rush
to enter doors that lead
to eternal submissive noise

thinkers dangle on steps
while the doers sit and devise plans
that will never be seen
or heard

eyes stare at other eyes
wondering if the other's
are warmer, colder, slanted
or human at all
