Sample of a piece I am working on
....and she illuminates my mind
taking my very breath-
in which I freely breathe.
She inhales as I exhale-
the haunting dream within my sleep.
My thirst she drinks
My hunger she feeds-
all the starving parts of me.
But, We are happy
And happiness isn't earned, it's deserved.
These thoughts running through our bodies like blood
They do not bleed
But that which is blood-
She needs
