Insomnia

This is not about fear
It’s more about cigarettes
And how to smoke one
Last pack before the sun
Rises over that damp maple
And your cat comes
Down those stairs to
Beat me for being
Pretentious and not
Trying hard enough to
Sleep when clearly
There was something
Good to dream about
