Poem for the fall.
What is the wind could pick me up
Move me through the air like it does a leaf
Drop me on a random street
A temporary dead end
Until the wind blows again

Swirling through the air
Battered by the world
Feeling the fall people stare
At the changed colors of this leaf like girl

Will someone try to catch me
Or press me in a book
Or will I be stepped on
Never worth a second look

I suppose it depends
On where the wind decides to carry me that day
Whether or not I will crumble
Or a leaf I will stay
