Suppose that you could touch Time.
Sandboxing Time

Suppose that you could touch Time
the way you lay your fingertips
on your mother's shoulder
like a vine holding up a trellis.

Suppose that you could touch Time
and feel the physical mesh
of a palpable fourth dimension
smothering you with turbulence.

What then, if you could touch Time?
Would you buy it?
drive it?
steer it close?
dry it?
hang it?
dress it up in fancy clothes?

Suppose that you could touch Time
as if Time
were something
visible
physical
personal
and who's to say it isn't?
Suppose that you could touch Time,
how would your ticking clock feel?
