poetry, death, ghost
I woke up today and looked outside.
Thinking of why I have not heard from you.
For an instant, a feeling of death felt deep inside.
Hoping the feelings I'm having are not true.

Racing to the phone to make a call.
Looking back at the window once more.
A ghostly shadow I thought I saw.
Dropping to my knees, as I hit the floor.

Thinking to myself this can not be
Holding back all my fears
As you stand there starring at me
Asking why you left me here

As I begin to cry
You reach out for me
Asking why you had to die
You are the last person I wanted to see

When you begin to fade away
I start to run after you
The last thing I wanted to say
Was that I will always love you

Walking towards the bed
Laying down on my side
With thoughts of your ghost in my head
No longer my feels I can hide

While laying there I start to cry
I close my eyes and try to sleep
Urning for you to be by my side
Memories of you I will keep

I woke up today with the suns warm beam
Rolling over I was startled with fright
Could this have been a dream
Seeing you was a wonderful site

Waking you up with a touch to you head
The look of confusion I seen in you
Softly saying I thought you were dead
I am here with you too

Your the love of my life
I am not leaving any time soon
Glad that you are my wife
Remember I love you to the moon
