Poem about childhood experiences
Wish We Were Done

So, hey,
She tells me this monstrous little story
I'd managed to archive
Now I'm right back on the hamster wheel
Asking the ridiculous
Like why

At even this late date
You expect your secret to be kept
I wanted to be finished with this
To be wise and free
But it keeps biting me in the ass

You believe you deserve some points
Blood was infrequently spilled
There were no mid-night visits
You didn't kill us

Oh, wait
There was one that fell by the wayside
But you know what they say
2 out of 3
