This is both sad and hopeful. It was back when I was depressed, but it's all good now.
Ready to fight another day.
Ready to hide my pain.
Ready to wish upon a star,
That is a distant plane.
Maybe I may get my wish,
Maybe I may not.
Maybe I may cry the whole night,
Tying myself in a knot.
Someday I will dry these tears.
Someday I will smile.
Someday I will hope again,
But that may take awhile.
All these hopes could drown me.
All these hopes could scar.
All these hopes are all I've got,
From here to valley far.
