A poem about the loss of a friend
When there was more than yesterday,
We'd run out of class and say more than "hey".

In yesterday you would hold me in your arms,
You could make me smile, wielding your charms.

If there was more than yesterday,
You would be here for today.

Today you'd laugh and say "Oh, my girl,"
Time would fly by in a great whirl.

If there was more than yesterday,
You'd be there tomorrow to make my day.

Tomorrow is nothing but a dream,
Yet tomorrow was such a lovely thing.

When there was more than yesterday,
You would turn around, and walk my way..
