The prolog to help explain the world of my novel to be
In the mainstream religion on the planet Dia it is said that one Supreme Being created six powerful beings called 'Givers'. The Supreme one gave the power of heat to the first, who took it as his name. His heat created something, motion, power, energy. This power was given to the second, who took it as her name. Where Heat was absent and Energy spent, a new power arose, cold, to be granted to the third as power and name. The emptiness still plagued all, and through scuffles between Heat and Cold, matter was formed, given to the fourth. With their powers they began to create planets, though they were all barren wastelands devoid of life despite efforts from them all. When Heat and Energy clashed and Matter intervened, something arose. Life was created, but instead of the fifth, it was the sixth who gained this power and title. Enraged he was skipped, the fifth killed the tiny life form, thus gaining the power and title, of Death.
After all the worlds were created there was a dispute; Life, Heat, and Matter wanted the worlds filled with wonderful life forms. While Death, Energy, and Cold wished for them to remain barren and pure. After a great deal of fighting, Heat, the eldest and most powerful commanded the battling to stop. He offered that since it was between Life and Death, they should fight over each planet to determine its fate. Throughout the thousands of battles Life won only two times, Populating the first world with only simple life before being chased away by a sore losing Death. She told Heat of this and he confronted Death about it. Death challenged Heat to a one on one but failed to best him, and was held from the remaining world.
At the last planet, now full of life both greenery and beasts, the group decided to create intelligent beings like themselves to rule this world. Through joining with one another twelve offspring came forth. From Heat and Matter came one of Lava, and one of Ore, the latter came to be known as Steel. From Cold and Energy came one of Lightning and one of Water. From Life being raped by her 'brother' Death, Life and Death were created in their likeness. Heat and Energy made Fire. Cold in union with Life gave birth to Ice. Matter and Death brought forth Darkness. From Cold and Matter came Earth. The mating of Energy and Death created Wind. And from Life and Heat, came Light.
These children grew fast under the protection of their parents, and were known as the generation of Eden. The six men and women reproduced rapidly, and the children were barely cared for by their parents. With Death still angry, he whispered to his child, the lady Death, to rally the others like her and eliminate the other races. With the Givers moving on from their maturing children, no one stopped the on coming war. The force of 46 Death demons, 37 Darkness, and 54 Lightning began to attack other races, killing all. Life felt the deaths of her children and spoke to her children to rally and fight against the threat.
The 32 remaining Life, and 48 Light demons stood against the lady Death, and failed. With poultry forces left they retreated. The three forces continued their assaults. The numbers of many races cut down they stood united against the lady Death. The Lava and Fire were so far uninvolved, and wind had joined the army of Death. It was a battle between the lady Deaths army of 138, and the man of Life’s 76. It was near hopeless when fire had come to aid the union against Deaths army, but it was to late to change the tide. Few lived in the closing hours. The collective force of seven races was down to 21 individuals. The lady Deaths forces stood strong with 58. The man of Life was dead, and soon so would be his race. The 21 retreated, beaten and full of sorrow. When the man of Lava learned of what happened, he offered sanctuary to the 21 survivors. He and his 40 men and women went to face lady Death alone. In a bloody battle lady Death was killed, and her forces massacred.
The Givers had returned after Life told them of what was happening. And enraged Heat hunted Death and sealed him with a temple to be guarded by the Life demons. Energy stole away with the few remaining Lightning demons and kept them secluded gave them the idea they were more 'pure' then the others of their species due to their breeding only with their own kind. The Givers convened and determined to each go into the soul of one Demon to ensure such a war never happen again. Heat went into the dying body of the man of Lava, saving him and electing him ruler of the entire species. The generation was named the generation of Death, as reminder of those responsible.
Again they bred like rabbits. The remaining 80 or so became about 340. The races were granted power to govern their own pieces of land. The Lava Demons staying to the west that is their homeland, the rest moving east, the farthest being those of Death. The land of Life was on a peninsula in the middle of a great lake in the center of the world, and it is here that two very special, very different, boys were born.
Tesudo Evensa was born in the world of Dia in the land of Life long after the war had come to a close. He was short and very thin but smart. At the young age of six he was walking toward his school. ‘I hope I won’t be late.’ The young boy thought, chipper to meet others his age for the first time. Upon arriving at the school house he sees another boy, near his age but massive in size. Tesudo entered the building and saw many children of varying ages. Two others seemed his size so he went to say hello them. “Hey there, I’m Tesudo Evensa. Who are you?” He asked. “I’m Arie Orani, and this is Zorgo Rae.” A girl said while gesturing to her friend. The boy from earlier enters the room with another large boy. Tesudo glares at him with fear and wonder, and his glare is returned by the titanic child. “Alright everyone get seated.” A woman’s voice rang out. She entered as Tesudo became seated as instructed. She had pink hair, long and flowing, gentle eyes and white robes. Tesudo thought she also looked a lot like Arie. She had those same eyes, and similar hair.
