Another Poem
I want to speak, some
I want to see, you
But when I'm near,
Choke in my throat,
And tears in my eyes.

Smirk and attitude betray the inner
Filled with a raw voice
Yearning for a release,
Being choked back down
Stranded, in limbo.

Cuz I can't, just spit it
Maybe I'm weak, I feel fear
I don't feel it as, I should
I'm not ready, not just yet
To give out, what's inside.

Just want you to know,
Though I play like solid steel,
And shrug with detachment,
It's my ruse, my cage, now open
To see I really do care, that I love.

Some day, not too far
Paths might cross,
Perhaps, a little hope
That you could feel, again
The insights, differed.
