Walking down a lonely road, as I wait.
Though I walk down the path
Where no one’s standing next to me
I can recall so many times
Where I was walking wild and free,

Though I slip through the valley
In the night when I’m alone,
I know where I belong
And this is where I like to roam.

Though I cry all the tears
And kneel to god to make a plea
I have hope that one day soon
You will come right back to me.

And until that day comes
I still walk right down that road
Waiting silently for the time
When you return and come back home.
