Follower of God
The Follower

Once there was a great learned sage;
Was always willing to give and never betrayed,
People gathered in flock to see him,
And started to circle all around him.

His disciples never agreed to such an act;
Complained the sage should be left alone infact,
The sage seemed to be unbothered, unaffected by whatever around,
He knew they were innocent followers from the nearby town.

He preached to all from underneath the tree;
And all the teachings were absolutely for free,
As a result his followers took for granted,
They began to neglect the words that were chanted.

At the end, all the followers were gone;
The sage opened his eyes to see just some faun,
He then closed his eyes with a gentle smile on his face,
One of his follower was there waiting to be embraced.
