Physics songs in real life
Tammy sat in the exam room a nervous wreck. She didn’t know what would come from this doctor’s visit and all she wanted was to be with her boyfriend Ryan on his last day before he was deployed.

*8 months earlier*
Tammy: (spastically throws pebble at the water)
Ryan: You don’t need to do all just to skip rocks.
Tammy: Well then you try it then.
Ryan: (Tosses pebble)
Tammy: You said it was sooooo easy so throw a pebble in the water and make a wave.
Ryan: I never said it was easy I just said you’re making it more difficult than it needs to be.
Tammy: Same thing.
Ryan: (throws another pebble) See, I told you it wasn’t that hard.
Tammy: Well if you weren’t here making me so nervous, I could do it. You feel my heart racing from over there.
Ryan: Well fine, I’ll turn around then.
Tammy: No, that’s not good enough.
Ryan: Well, this isn’t easy for me either. I’m trying to keep my heart on the tracks
Tammy: Well, why don’t we do something that isn’t a competition?
Ryan: I have an idea.
Tammy: What is it?
Ryan: You’ll find out. Just trust me.
*Ryan and Tammy hop into his truck and head down the road*
Tammy: (singing) I like my beats fast and my bass down low.
Tammy: I noticed the dog tags hanging from the rearview, are they yours or your dad’s?
Ryan: They’re my dad’s, but I’ll be getting mine in the summer.
Tammy: What the fuck? I didn’t know you were in the military. Why didn’t you tell me you asshole.
Ryan: Calm down, I haven’t even enlisted yet. I’m going to the recruitment office sometime this week. I’m not sure if they’re going to take me anyway because of an accident I had last year.
Tammy: Why didn’t you tell me and what accident?
Ryan: I wrecked my first car, I tore it all to pieces.
Tammy: Was it really that bad?
Ryan: Crashed down to soil.
*The car stops*
Ryan: We’re here.
Tammy: I don’t see anything, just a drop.
Ryan: Exactly, step away from the ledge, I’m coming down.
*He jumps into the lake and Tammy screams*
Tammy: You expect me to do that?! My heart’s gonna break from the fall.
*He hits the water*
Ryan: I’ve been doing this since I was young. It feels like I’m falling forever, the rush is amazing.
*She jumps*

*Present day*
Doctor Jones: Six chances in ten it won’t come back again with the therapy we’re gonna try. It’s just been approved. It’s the strongest there is. I think we caught it in time.
Tammy: Wait, cancer? Chemo? Do you really expect me, ME, to walk around telling people I’m radioactive?
Doctor Jones: That’s the way the world goes round.
*She storms out the room and makes her way back to Ryan’s house*
Ryan: I’m glad I got to see you before I left.
Tammy: Me too.
Ryan: I have to ask you something about me leaving..
Tammy: What?
Ryan: You know I’m going to be gone long and we have our problems and all but if you want, we can just end this now and save each other some heartache.
Tammy: That’s not what I want though.
Ryan: Are you sure?
Tammy: I would give it all just to show you I’m in love cause you know we’re inseparable.
Ryan: I’m glad you said that.
Tammy: I just wish you could stay because I’m going through something and
I think I really need you right now.
Ryan: What is it?
Tammy: I just found out that I have cancer.
Ryan: Well, since I’m going to basic I can still be here for you just not physically. I can call you every Sunday and write you as much as possible. Whatever you need, I’ll try to be there for you.
Tammy: I hate that you have to leave but I guess that works. I’d rather someone actually here but at least I know you’re coming back to me.
Ryan: I’ll promise I’ll try to talk to as much as possible but I have to go now.
*They kiss and he leaves*
*Ryan returns home after a year and some months*
John: Have you heard from Tammy at all since you’ve been gone?
Ryan: Not at all.
John: You aren’t worried?
Ryan: No, not Tammy. She’s strong, pushes on, can’t slow her down.
John: At least you have hope.
Ryan: There’s something about hope. It only moves one way, away from yesterday so why think about how bad it was before?
John: You’re right.
*Ryan returns to Tammy’s house only to see that everything is changed there’s another car in the driveway. He knocks on the door and Tammy comes out in a robe*
Ryan: Why aren’t you happy to see me? What’s wrong?
Tammy: I’m groggy from the chemo.
Dr. Jones: (from inside the house) who’s at the door?
Ryan: Who is that?!
Tammy: (crying) I’m sorry but you were gone for so long and I couldn’t deal with being sick by myself and he was the only one there for me!
Ryan: Let me guess, you started something you just couldn’t stop.
Tammy: I’m so sorry.
Ryan: You know what? You don’t even look sick. You look worn out but that can only be from him huh?
Tammy: I tried, I really did! It just felt like I was hanging for you and I could do that sick.
Ryan: Right now I just wanna get some gasoline and burn the house down.
Dr. Jones: Keep talking to her like that and one of us is going down.
Ryan: So when you fall to the ground, don’t get mad.
Dr. Jones: Well what goes around comes all the way back around so just try something and I’ll be ignited to watch you burn.
*Ryan was awakened on the floor by the doorbell with a huge hangover to see his friend John*
John: Dude, You look like shit.
Ryan: Today I don’t feel like doing anything, I just wanna lay in my bed. I don’t even remember last night. It’s taken forever to get me off the ground to get the door.
John: We got back at Tammy! You don’t remember? You were all crazy and shit like “Key her car while we burn it to the ground tonight!”
Ryan: Really? We didn’t get caught?
John: Dr. Jones came out and I thought “Yeah, we’re going down.”
Ryan: Well-
*Tammy pulls up*
John: I’ll go inside while yall talk.
Ryan: What do you want?
Tammy: I want to talk.
Ryan: And I want to throw empty beer cans at both of your shadows.
Tammy: Just one conversation. Let’s go to where we had our first date.
Ryan: That’s like an hour away.
Tammy: Although the distance is daring, we both know how to drive.
Ryan: After this we’re done.(Calls inside the house) John, go home.
*Ryan and Tammy are driving to the lake where they had their first date*
Tammy: I know what I did wasn’t right but what did you want me to do I couldn’t stand it by myself.
Ryan: How long were you even actually sick?
Tammy: A few months but it felt like years, you don’t understand.
Ryan: I was gone for almost two years and in not even a quarter of that time you just gave up on us? Why didn’t you just break up with me when you had the chance?
Tammy: I didn’t want to lose what support I knew I had coming back. Dr. Jones stayed with me every step of the way and it just happened.
Ryan: You can’t excuse it. You pretty much used me until you found better.
Tammy: No it wasn’t like that!
Ryan: I don’t want to hear this, take me back home.
Tammy: No, we have to talk!
(Ryan and Tammy fight for the steering wheel and the car crashes)
