going for a walk and observing the world
A Walk

Placing one foot in front of the other

Caressing the snow beneath,

I walk as I gaze at the world around me.

Holding the hand of her precious child,

Speaking to him softly,

A mother shows the wonders of the world.

Stopping at the zebra crossing,

Waiting quite impatiently,

A red car stands out in a world of white.

Judging people as they walk by,

Creating a mock-life for them,

An old man sits on a bench in his own world.

Smiling without knowing why,

Listening to the sound of the city,

I'm daydreaming my way out of this world.{/cente
