long distance love
Sometimes I sit with my back against the wall,
the cold stones do nothing to comfort me.
If I shout her name, will she hear my call?
Is God too far to hear my plea?

I sit in darkness marinating in my own despair
the most beautiful flower in all the desert...
beyond these walls, I know she's there.
my Sampaguita, i long for you till it hurts.

when I dream of you in that lonely place,
I whisper words softly into the wind.
as the moon lit rays caress your face,
let my love embrace you from deep within.

no more darkness, no more rain.
the day will come when we are finally free.
no more sadness, no more pain.
in your presence, so happy i will be

no distance will ever stand in our way.
not this wall, nor time and space.
to hold you in my arms, i cannot wait
I will find you no matter how long it takes...
