The first of a crown of sonnets in the making.
The world was naked, lost before my eyes
my bare own feet on top this earths own land.
I too was nude and stood in front these lies
were men had sinned by natures head and hand.

The lies did fogged what once was young and true
when love did live and beauty also breathed
beneath the ash and blood, the magic did brew
but now I see that only death did seethe

My name unknown, my past in past has stayed
I can recall no more than one belief
in love and truth, in beauty, youth, all saved
from hate and lies; the fatal cries relieved.

I must find answers, must find ways to fight
to prove me right, before the dusk brings night.
