A Poem about my father
There are things my father told me, though he never said a word,
like always act with kindness, no matter what you've heard.
There's always someone out there who could use a helping hand, so be greatful for what's given, and humble when you demand.
Or if you're feeling down, there are many things to do. There's just one life, no second chance, how you live is up to you.
There are things my father told me. though he never said a word,
like everyone deserves a chance, or maybe two or three, but when they've held YOU down to much, they need to be set free.
There's beauty all around us, in all things, all the time, and if you let in in you'll be freer in your mind.
Or when you lose the ones you love, and there's no where left to go, they sit around you watching, sharing memories you might know.
There are things my father told me, though he never said a word.....
