First, it should be noted that it was my arm.
First it should be noted that it was my arm. I was attached to it, it had served me well. Only yesterday I used it for something or other. I think I used it to fetch a cup of tea right before it all happened. When it did, we barely had enough time to collect our thoughts, our things and of course the cat, before, well if you are reading this then you know the story don't you?

I tried to calm my wife and the cat by telling them to stop making a big deal out of nothing. That went out the proverbial window, when the EMT's informed us by radio that my wife would have to amputate my arm. Hey, I had two of them anyway.

They have started collecting outside the house. Yesterday they were our neighbors, today they have become beasts. Times change, people change. That has just become the understatement of the year.

We drank the last of the wine to keep warm. Force fed some to the cat who decided that she liked it. Note to self: the cat likes a good chardonnay.

Sorry now that I went on that diet, loss some thirty pounds. The beasts will get to feast on some lean meat. Why couldn't I have been lazy and fat, maybe then they would have choked on a fatty old man.

The cat has fallen asleep from the tranquilizers in the wine. My wife is about to close her eyes for the last time. I kissed her, she smiled and said I love you followed by goodbye. They are collecting again, I have no more ammunition, to fend them off. They are in the kitchen, coming up they stairs now, one last burst from an old flare pistol and
