I must fight to continue on, I must never stop what I'm doing to survive this life.

Beneath the black
The sky is pale
Expanding
Meandering
I follow along
Knowing no destination
Unsure of where I’ve been
Always lost in this wilderness
A righteous kingdom of wolves
Hungry for my blood
They are always chasing me
Like a past that I cannot escape
Biting at my heals
I cannot take a second to stop
I must move on and on
Never standing in any place
Never finding a moments peace
Alone time often decides
That every lie becomes truth
Remembering back
Has become quite hard
Damn near impossible
Lost faces appear as ghost
Loved ones once misplaced
Have since further escaped
I am always by myself
In this deepening hole
Sickening me to the bone
Fighting to find equal footing
I sink deeper with each step
Beneath the black
The sky is pale
God above won’t relent
Upon my heart is his grip
Suffering is what must be done
As I fight to explain myself
Words are my only way
Nonsensical gibberish
Unprecedented brilliance
I’ll let the critics decide
I will be judged by content
I will be persecuted by meaning
Beneath the black
The sky is pale
There is no sun
No moon defined
There is only nothing
Hopeless, thick, and wide
I face no chance while I’m here
I was never meant to survive
But I have through each page
I tell the story as I live it
I can do nothing else
Because it’s all that I have
Beneath the black
The sky is pale…
