inspired by a waltz sequence I've seen ...when eyes spoke the language of love
eyes locked in a battle of concealed desire

dancing to their own song of ice and fire

oblivious to their surroundings eerily calm

similar to that of a lull before the storm

you re the first to turn away

only to turn back and see

while I hold my breath, my expression a dead giveaway

asking you to stay, my words a silent plea

awaiting intervention that's divine

telling myself its all going to be fine

like a moth attracted to a flame

I wanted you to be mine to claim

and then my heart skipped a beat

smile spread across my face like gentle heat

cause there you were the reason of my hearts plight

serenely beautiful, emerging from the moonlight

this is what it probably means

to feel insufferably weak in the knees

now confusion is oh so clear

even in chaos I can hear

you're more than just a temptation I can't resist

you're the dream of my life, a reality I'll persist
