My love for my country, and to the world.
Today, I give myself to the people of my country, my friends,

the others, my neighbours, the long-gone, dear to the very end...

I am here now for those whose future is yet to come and unfold.

I offer my life to the future's children, to see them grow.

The golden meadows... the gentle hills and the wind's breath,

the sea's rising, the feeling of patriotism and brotherhood,

is something I have to thank my mother, my sweet embrace

and my bound to England grows beyond matters of blood.

If the dawn needs the scarlet, take it from the fire of my heart,

count on me as a believer of your law and concept of fairness,

for when I visit other places I know for sure we can't be apart,

as I carry you in my chest, making dear use of my awareness...

Do I love you, lands of joy, a Heaven on Earth, the apple of my eye,

but beyond Eden, as I go under the shadow of your tree,

I finally hold it closer to me and take a fateful sweet lasting bite,

and by God's mercy, the land of his goods, I now appreciate and see.

And as you have given me everything, my virtues, my soul and life,

I give myself as one of your sons, as the architect of a new paradise.
